Scope of Work
D-Scheme Studio created architectural, interiors and exterior designs, managed project execution, and facilitated city inspections in preparation for new restaurant openings.
D-Scheme revamped the kitchens with new equipment, designed the bar and dining areas with lighting, finishes and millwork throughout. Also designed the facades/exteriors, outdoor dining and patios for a year round dining experience. These restaurants followed the Green Building Standard Codes.

The AFICI team worked with Marc Dimalanta of D-Scheme Studio on the design, reimaging the space, complete with pasta making station, customized charcuterie locker and whisk(e)y lockers.
Building on his history with Alexander’s Steakhouse Group, Marc Dimalanta of San Francisco’s D-Scheme Studio collaborated with the team to reimagine the AFICI space. AFICI is the first concept by Alexander’s Steakhouse to utilize interior design to bring the energy and activity of the kitchen and service station directly into the restaurant.
Aya Designs and architecture firm D-Scheme Studio are behind the look of the 4,544-square-foot space. The restaurant’s 109 seats are scattered between the dining room, a private dining room and outdoor seating.
